Welcome to Third Grade!
My name is Miss LaRocco, and I am so excited to be your child’s third-grade teacher this year! I truly can not wait to get to know each student and make this a fun, creative, and meaningful year of learning. In our classroom, I encourage out-of-the-box thinking, imagination, and a love for exploring new ideas.

I strive to create a classroom environment where all students feel safe, supported, and inspired to be themselves. We will focus on building a strong classroom community, one that is respectful, welcoming, and full of kindness. In our room, we are bucket fillers, which means we work hard to lift each other up and treat everyone with care and compassion.

Throughout the year, we’ll grow in reading, writing, math, and all of our core subjects through whole group lessons, small group activities, independent work, and hands-on projects. I love using creative approaches and making learning engaging for all types of learners.

Most of all, I want your child to feel excited to come to school each day. I believe that when students feel confident, included, and encouraged, they can achieve amazing things, not just academically, but as kind and thoughtful individuals.
