We made it through the first week of First grade!!! The children did a great job! Below I have listed some reminders for next week.
Reminders:

Please join our Google Classroom page. Each child in the class was invited. The invitation was sent to their school email address.
Next week we will have full days of school. Please remember to update pick-up patrol for your child's dismissal procedure.
All children will need to bring lunch and a drink with them next week. No lunch or snack will be sold until the week of the 15th.
We will begin using our books next week. Please send the books if you did not do so this week. All workbooks should be covered in clear contact paper. 
We have enough paper towels, tissues and wipes to begin the year. If you did not send them in yet, please hold them and I will ask for more when we are running low.
Next week I will begin using the St. Mary School folders each night. Please remember to empty them each night. 
Paperwork that went home this week needs to be completed and returned to school.
We will have Gym class next Thursday. Please make sure your child wears their Summer Gym uniform next Thursday,
After we go through the first week of specials, I will send home a list of the days we have each special.

Welcome to Class 1B!! I am so excited to be your teacher. The school calendar and a note went home today in your backpack. Please check both. All supplies and book 1.1 in Reading and Volume 1 in Math should be in school by Monday, September 8th. English grammar, handwriting, Social Studies and Science books should also be in school by then. Remember all workbooks should be covered in clear contact paper. Please label each book. Please feel free to send in all the volumes of each book to be stored in the classroom. This will make it easier when we begin a new unit.

Everything brought to school should be labeled with your child's name and class.

Children must bring snacks and lunch with two drinks each day. Lunch can be purchased. Each child should bring a washcloth sized cloth to use as a placemat in the classroom during snack. Lunch may not be purchased in school until the week of September 15th. Please make sure to send lunch each day next week.

Please remember to join Pick Up Patrol and update any changes when necessary.

The children will bring home the school calendar. Please make note of special days and early dismissals.
